Malik, Sarpatta Parambarai, Toofaan lead Amazon Prime Video's 8-day extravaganza

Amazon Prime Video is marking its 'Prime Day' celebrations with the world premiere of Malayalam thriller Malik starring Fahadh Faasil, the much-expected Pa Ranjith-helmed Tamil film Sarpatta Parambarai, the Kannada comedy drama Ikkat, and Farhan Akhtar starrer Toofaan.

The 8-day extravaganza began yesterday (July 8) with the India premiere of The Prime Day show, the 3-part show featuring three Grammy winners Billie Eilish, H.E.R. and Kid Cudi.

In addition to this, Amazon Prime Video will also launch the second season of the Amazon original Hostel Daze on July 23. Further, it is also streaming the global hit Judas and the Black Messiah (July 25), and also Tom and Jerry: The Movie (July 10).

Sarpatta Parambarai on July 22

Among the big releases, Malik and Toofaan were announced earlier while that of the Tamil film Sarpatta Parambarai (also available in Telugu) was made yesterday. And it is a bit of a surprise as because the film was awaiting a release in the cinema halls. Directed by Pa Ranjith, who has to his credit Rajnikanth starrer Kabali and Kaala, Sarpatta Parambarai is about boxing duels in the 1970 in North Madras, a place that is steeped in Dalit history.

The movie has Arya in the lead who plays a boxer. The story revolves around a clash between two clans namely Idiyappa Parambarai and Sarpatta Parambarai in North Chennai.

It premieres on July 22.

Malik from July 15

Malayalam film Malik is also an interesting one as director Mahesh Narayanan returns after the success of CU Soon that was also premiered on Amazon Prime Video. It also starred Fahadh Faasil, a certified star of the OTT era. "Malik is a special film for both Fahad and I – it is our dream project," the director said.

A political thriller, Malik chronicles the journey of Sulaiman Malid, played by Fahadh Faasil, a charismatic leader of a fishing hamlet. He leads a revolution against authoritative forces that try to encroach on the lives of his people. Spanning different time periods, Malik is a story about crime, death and pain. It is inspired by true incidents.

Malik premieres on July 15.

Toofaan to stream from July 16

Led by Farhan Akhtar, Toofaan is also a big highlight of the Amazon Prime Video's lineup. It is the story of a boxer and the struggles he faces on his journey to get to the national level. Under forced circumstances, an orphan boy born from the streets of Dongri, grows up to be a local goon. His life changes when he meets a bright and a compassionate young woman who guides him to take the right path.

This one, too, is a boxing story of an underdog. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, this movie marks the second collaboration between him and Farhan after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

"It is a story of hope and resilience – something we all need right now," said Farhan Akhtar.

Toofaan premieres on July 16.

Ikkat from July 21

The Kannada comedy drama Ikkat is set during the times of the Covid 19 pandemic, and is presented by Pawan Kumar. It follows the life of a married couple. It stars Nagabhshana, a well known Kannada comedian and Big Boss Kannada fame actress Bhoomi Shetty.

It will stream from July 21.

Among the web series, Hostel Daze Season 2 is from July 23.

Taking the narrative of four naive and vulnerable wing-mates forward in the second season, this series is all about their adventures inside an engineering hostel in India. Relatable and funny, the second season is peppered with absurdities, clashes, and debacles inherent to hostel life.

Among the Hollywood titles, Tom & Jerry movie streams July 10 and Judas & Black Messiah on July 25.

US may revise Right to Repair laws for phones and consoles – but by how much?

In the coming days, US President Joe Biden may take action on a subject near and dear to gadget fans’ hearts: the liberty to repair their own devices. He’s expected to ask the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to revise the country’s Right to Repair rules, consistent with a Bloomberg report.

The Presidential Directive will instruct the FTC to draft new rules which will stop manufacturers from restricting consumers from fixing their own devices, and can specifically mention mobile manufacturers and Department of Defense contractors as “possible areas for regulation,” a source conversant in the plan told Bloomberg. Farmers, who buy tractors and other equipment that require proprietary repair tools and software also can expect to ascertain some relief.

To be clear, this is often a directive, and doesn’t guarantee any certain action from the FTC. But it does show regulatory attention on a problem that’s forced consumers into following manufacturer protocols to repair their gadgets rather than fixing them on their own. This affects many sorts of devices, but especially those from big tech companies like Apple and Microsoft that have made it tough for consumers to repair devices themselves through software and hardware restrictions.

In Apple’s case, this has meant taking devices in (or shipping them to) the company’s retail and repair locations, or to authorized third-party shops. The FTC went thus far on blast Apple with a report published in May that condemned its repair restrictions as anti-competitive, like limiting access to service manuals and requiring unannounced inspections of these third-party shops, explained 9to5Mac. Even hardware design was criticized, like tying components to logic boards and making battery replacement so tough and cost-inefficient to encourage browsing Apple’s channels, if not simply buying a replacement device.

So, this happened last night.

Sexy time with gf ensued. She's on her period, so i got me a beej.

Facial is a norm as she's okay with it.

That's the preface.

So last Friday, she went and got her lashes done. Those things aren't cheap, but she likes it. Anyways, you're not suppose to get it wet for a certain amount of time.

Now the gf is going strong, and as I'm about to cum. I asked. "Ready?"

"Arghhh arghhh yeah." " No wait."

She turns to the side. "I just got my lashes done.''

Pew. Pew.

As she turned to the right, i shot a load into her ear.

Not the entire load, but a majority.

She ended up crying and mad at me. It's in the ear! I don't know how it made it in that far, but we spent an hour or so getting it out with cotton squabs.

She says she still feels it. But, yeah... no more sexy time anytime soon.

Tl;dr- gf used the meat microphone and now my kids are whispering in her ear.

Update: ear has been cleaned. Hydrogen peroxide and water. Based on a comment below, this shall be known as a WHITE Willy.

For those who questioned why we didn't hit the shower or pour water in to flush it out. PANIC. PANIC MAKES YOU CLUMSY. Plus, sea_men swim in water. We didn't want to exacerbate the situation.

Dammit. Update 3.

It's 2:20 am in the morning and she is hearing a buzzing sound in the left ear. MR. Google says it's an ear infection. Wtf? Is it that fast to develop an ear infection? Somone tell me I'm paranoid. I might have impregnated her ear. Fuck me. If this requires medical attention, this will be a major fuck up.

[UPDATE] You were right. I ignored every single one of your comments and eventually caught my wife with the other man

This is a tough pill to swallow, and I can't say I hadn't been warned. This is my previous post. Many folks asked me to follow up with an update so here it is, fresh from the oven.

After reading every single comment of the reddit post, my brain just couldn't overcome the catastrophe and the collapse of the world I had built for me in which my wife is my love, my best friend and partner, as well a the person I admire the most. She was entirely perfect, and made me happy for many years. I thought no couple in the world could have what we had. We were both very happy for a long time. We were both attractive, we were both inherently good, had big hearts and were individually wildly successful in our careers.

After the reddit post, I moved to an airbnb and eventually with family to think things through. It was a terrible time but a psychologist helped me recover from a terrible mental state. It coincided with the pandemic hitting very hard in my city (I caught the virus), which didn't help.

During this time, we kept talking and my wife was very sorry and continued saying they hadn't met. I knew it wasn't true but was willing to forgive the woman of my dreams, who continued being in the highest altar of my universe.

Fast forward last saturday morning, I went back to our place, ready to forgive her and talk things through in the most mature way possible. And well, there she was, but I was the one who received the biggest surprise, to say the least. The guy was in my house naked, and so was my wife. The guy from the messages, the guy from the pics. The one she said she didn't even like. I caught him hiding in my bathroom as my wife was putting her pajamas on. When I saw him hiding in my bathroom, he uttered "sorry dude". For a second I asked myself, is this were I kill him? But I instantly replied "I got nothing against you", because the guy was just nailing this hot woman. Even if he was doing so in a house full of pictures of me. Pictures of our wedding and our families. Pictures of my dead father who would be so sad to see how the marriage he never witnessed was going to end. He has always been the reason I try to make the world a better place. He passed away two months before our wedding.

I'm sorry. I still love her to death. But I understand enough is enough. Even if my world collapses, I hope I can build a new one without lies and in which I'm not just a blind believer under an altar of a fake god.
